A budding entrepreneur, one glass of lemonade at a time

A local child beat the hot and humid days of summer with some cold cash through a lemonade stand. Ja’Marion West, 10, set up his lemonade stand on Brown Road last month and managed to get several donations from the community after it was promoted by his neighbor on social media.

A friendly wager made the rounds throughout the Etheridge Furniture staff. Chairs, beds and cabinets started flying out of their showroom and into customers’ homes since the store’s retirement sale was announced in June.
