A Wednesday night shooting, allegedly sparked by an argument between a motorist and the passenger in his vehicle, resulted in victim fleeing into a local retail store with a gunshot wound to his torso and the arrest of a Lake City man later that night.

Christmas came early to Lake City. More than 200 vendors from across the region took over Olustee Park and Wilson Park on Saturday, offering local residents the chance to both complete their Christmas shopping lists and get to know new and local small businesses.
