A health clinic is coming to the downtown Lake Shore Hospital Authority campus. During a special meeting Tuesday, the LSHA board unanimously approved a construction and operation agreement with Palms Medical Group to run an Authority-owned clinic in the former physical therapy building.

The City of Lake City may have interest in various Lake Shore Hospital Authority properties, but the LSHA board wants to hear nothing about it. At least for now.

Two seriously injured in I-75 motorhome crash

A pair of South Florida women were seriously injured when their motorhome collided with a semi truck Sunday on Interstate 75. The Florida Highway Patrol said the motorhome was traveling south on I-75 around noon Sunday when it moved from the left lane to the middle lane in southern Columbia County.
