A pair of South Florida men face a slew of charges after state troopers found dozens of documents with others’ private information in their vehicle Tuesday. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper made a traffic stop on southbound Interstate 75 at 10:29 a.m.

Pair arrested for stolen firearm, drugs

Two men were arrested after being spotted with a handful of firearms at the Cedar Park apartments late Saturday night. A Lake City Police Department report said someone reported seeing four males placing firearms into the trunk of a car at the apartment complex.

FGC plans $1M welding expansion

State funding is providing a spark to the Florida Gateway College welding program. FGC received more than $1 million from the Florida Department of Education’s Workforce Development Capitalization Incentive Program to expand its welding technology program.
