Fall camp begins Monday, and not without some key storylines. Columbia, Fort White, Suwannee, Branford and Lafayette each have their own question marks heading into the 2025 seasons, with some bigger than others.

MAYO — Just in time for practice to begin Monday, Lafayette has its football schedule finalized. Sort of. The Hornets finished up their 10-game regular-season slate last week.

PREP FOOTBALL: Columbia finishes second in 7-on-7 tournament, wins linemen challenge at Jaguars 11-ON

JACKSONVILLE — Columbia’s first trip to a championship in a 7-on-7 tournament under coach Brian Allen nearly ended with a trophy. But time ultimately ran out on the Tigers after a stellar day Thursday at the Jacksonville Jaguars 11-ON Tournament, which was hosted at Providence High School.

LIVE OAK — Next month, Suwannee will host a celebration 99 years in the making. On Aug. 8, SHS is inviting back old players, coaches, cheerleaders, administrators and anyone else involved to celebrate 100 seasons of Suwannee football. The celebration is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Former Suwannee star Jaquez Moore gives back to Live Oak with football camp

LIVE OAK — Five years after last racing down the Langford Stadium grass, Jaquez Moore scored back at the “Dog House” once more. Moore, who is entering his last football season at Duke, held a youth camp at Langford Stadium on Saturday, attracting approximately 70 children.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Tigers pounce on Indians to close out summer league play

The wins and losses didn’t matter to either team. Rather, in Thursday’s summer league finale between Columbia and Fort White, both sides got a taste of what they need to work on leading into next season. The Tigers did take the 63-21 win over the Indians in Lake City.
