GAINESVILLE — Darius Days was mostly miserable during his last two trips home to play in front of friends and family members. He struggled, and LSU lost. He tried to relax a little more this time around and ended up giving dozens of his fans who made the short trip north plenty of reason to cheer.

TALLAHASSEE — Freshman Matthew Cleveland scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half, RayQuan Evans made two free throws with 0.8 seconds left and Florida State beat in-state rival Miami 65-64 on Tuesday night to extend its win streak against the Hurricanes to eight games.

The Columbia Tigers lost by four. Or did they? The scoreboard read a 60-56 victory for Nease. The scorebook, on the other hand, told a different story, one that should have ended in overtime. Unfortunately for Columbia, that realization came a little too late on Tuesday night.
