Columbia’s boys cross country team defeated Newberry 16-47 in the Tiger Run on Saturday behind Jose Rodriguez’s first-place finish. Rodriguez won the race in 17:22.00. Audrey Fender also won the girls race in 21:18.00 for Columbia, which was the only team to field a full squad for scoring.
