WASHINGTON — Democrat Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States on Saturday, positioning himself to be a leader who “seeks not to divide, but to unify" a nation gripped by a historic pandemic and a confluence of economic and social turmoil.

Live Oak Council starting city manager interviews Tuesday

LIVE OAK — The Live Oak City Council will meet — virtually — with its top city manager candidates Tuesday. The first round of interviews to replace retiring City Manager Ron Williams will be held Tuesday, starting at 9 a.m. with the final interview scheduled for 3 p.m.

Fort White re-elects Frazier as mayor

CCE students collect food for Thanksgiving donation
