St. Augustine fugitive captured in Suwannee County, again

McALPIN — Lightning can strike twice. For the second time in seven months, a St. Augustine fugitive was located and apprehended in Suwannee County. The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the U.S.

Free vaccines coming to Hamilton County

WHITE SPRINGS — Free covid-19 vaccinations will be administered Saturday in southern Hamilton County. The Hamilton County Health Department will be hosting the vaccination event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its White Springs Clinic, 16811 Spring Street in White Springs.

Ida likely to drive up gas prices

After Florida motorists have seen a drop in gasoline prices in recent weeks, Hurricane Ida is likely to make it more expensive to fill up. The AAA auto club said Monday that the massive hurricane, which made landfall Sunday in Louisiana, caused futures prices for gasoline to increase.
