The recent surge of new covid-19 cases in north Florida has continued to subside. The number of new cases dropped for the fourth straight week for Columbia County, according to weekly data released by the Florida Department of Health on Friday.

Water line repair closing U.S. 129, 90 intersection

LIVE OAK — The main intersection in downtown Live Oak will be temporarily closed Sunday night. The city announced Thursday the intersection of U.S. Highway 129 (Ohio Avenue) and U.S. 90 (Howard Street) will closed Sunday at 6 p.m. for road maintenance.

Hamilton delegation hearing set for Sept. 28
