WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden ordered broad new sanctions targeting Russia on Thursday after its invasion of Ukraine, declaring that Russian leader Vladimir Putin “chose this war" and his country will bear the consequences.

MCALPIN — A Suwannee County woman faces child neglect charges for not alerting law enforcement to child abuse. According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report, 26-year-old Jenna Quick was arrested Friday for child neglect with great bodily harm.
