The Halpatter Brewing Company isn’t going away any time soon, despite the recent sale of its building in downtown Lake City. Instead, the brewery is shifting gears in trying to meet local market demands by offering more of what residents have been asking for.

While a new request for funding from the Lake Shore Hospital Authority ruffled some feathers, board members left a little happier after some progress was made in occupying its main hospital building.
