BOYS WRESTLING: Five Bulldogs win district titles, 13 qualify for regionals

LIVE OAK — With a chance to go to regionals as a team on the line, Suwannee’s wrestlers had almost everything they needed. The only missing piece? A heavyweight. The Bulldogs came in a close second at home to Wakulla at the District 2-1A meet Friday afternoon.

A pair of Columbia seniors put pen to paper Thursday morning to continue their educations as well as golf careers after helping the Tigers to three consecutive state championship appearances. Though the ceremony was delayed 10 minutes by a school-wide fire alarm at 10:30 a.m.
