COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY: FGC wins Alligator Lake XC Invite

Florida Gateway College won the 13th Annual Alligator Lake XC Invite on Friday thanks to five runners placing in the top 20, led by Ariel Anderson’s third-place finish.

Anderson finished with a time of 21:54.4 for the Timberwolves, who tallied 59 points to edge Thomas’ 62. Kyla Desmartin placed eighth for FGC at 23:06.1, while Kayla Desmartin was 12th (23:36.5), Merlin Lean was 17th (24:08.6) and Fallon Flynn was 19th (24:18.5).

Savana Thomas crossed the finish line in 23rd for FGC.
