BOYS WEIGHTLIFTING

— Columbia 52, Madison County 37: The Tigers won seven of 10 weight classes to top the Cowboys in a dual meet at home. Chase Johnson lifted a meet-best 615 pounds to win the heavyweight class, while Javon Bradley totaled 600 pounds to win the 238 class for the Tigers. Other winners for CHS included Mekah Combs-Turner in the 199 class (300 total), Jeffrey Pope at 129 (365 total), Cam Stephenson at 154 (415), Tyson Yaxley at 183 (540 total) and Kyten Davis at 219 (510 total). Also scoring points for the Tigers were Luke Feagle (375 total at 139, third), Tyler Alexander (330 total at 139, fourth), Jae’den Simmons (400 total at 154, second), Garrett Shipley (510 total at 183, second), Joshua Jones (465 total at 199, second), Caden Bolstein (590 total at 238, second), Chris Jordan (525 total at 238, third) and Henry Camiel (575 total in heavyweight, second).

BASEBALL

— Suwannee 15, Rickards 4: Jace Moran went 2 for 4 with four RBIs, Noah Lopez went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and four runs scored, and PJ Davis finished 1 for 1 with two RBIs and three runs scored to lead the Bulldogs to a run-rule win over the Raiders in six innings on the road. SHS trailed 2-1 until exploding for six runs in the fourth inning, four in the fifth and four in the sixth. Logan Brooks and Grayson Green also had RBI hits for the Bulldogs, who saw Patrick Williams pitched three innings of relief where he didn’t allow a hit or run while striking out six.

— Fort White 7, Hamilton County 1: Kenton Hasse and Patrick Kennedy combined to throw a one-hitter, while Matthew Pitts went 2 for 3 with three RBIs to lead the Indians (3-4) past the Trojans (0-5) at home. Hasse pitched four innings for the win where he allowed an unearned run on a hit and four walks with nine strikeouts, while Kennedy struck out seven over the final three innings while walking four batters. David Fralick and Hayden Adams also had RBI hits for FWHS, which snapped a four-game losing streak.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 6, Lincoln 0: The Bulldogs (6-0) shut out the Trojans (2-1) on the road to remain undefeated.
