Senior Salute: “I’ll miss traveling, competing and meeting new people. Also on our way to the state meet we would stop in Tallahassee and eat the best steaks. I felt like I had great chance at winning. I was lifting 375 pounds at an early point in the season and I was in the same weight class as before. So I knew I was getting even stronger so I felt like the title was in my hands.”

Looking ahead: “My plans after high school are to attend Albany State on a football scholarship and get my bachelor’s degree in movie/music engineering.”

Senior Salute is an ongoing series from the LCR to honor the seniors who lost their spring seasons due to covid-19. If your coach hasn’t reached out to you, you can also reach out to us.
