Senior Salute: “The thing I will miss the most is the full stands and the girls. I’ll miss raking the field after practice, the drills, 21 outs, the dance sessions in the locker room and the pregame lunches. Being a senior and walking on the field to see a packed stands supporting you is the best feeling. This team was one big group of crazy, hardworking, loving and trustworthy girls. I couldn’t have asked for a better high school softball experience.”

Looking ahead: “I will be furthering my education at Saint Leo University, and after completing my education I will be going into the academy for Florida Highway Patrol. I planned to compete at the next level, but God took me down another path. I am very grateful for the offers on the table, but my future is beyond softball.”

Senior Salute is an ongoing series from the LCR to honor the seniors who lost their spring seasons due to covid-19. If your coach hasn’t reached out to you, you can also reach out to us.
