PREP TRACK & FIELD: Stockton's win leads area at Bob Hayes Invitational

Columbia and Suwannee endured the rain and windy conditions to compete at the Bob Hayes Invitational on Saturday at North Florida’s Hodges Stadium.

The highlight of the day for Columbia was the performance of Seth Stockton who won the triple jump with a leap of 14.11m. He also finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 6.59m.

Trevis Johnson also stood out for the Tigers, qualifying for the 400m finals before placing sixth time of 50.99.

Kyndal Norris had the best day for the girls by finishing 10th in the javelin throw with a toss of 28.98m.

Morgan Mobley led Suwannee’s boys with a fifth-place finish in the 1600m (4:44.10), and TJ Derico also placed eighth in the long jump (6.41m). Ryleigh Hermanson was the top performer for the SHS girls, finishing sixth in the 1600m (5:42.96).
