PREP SWIMMING: Suwannee girls place 14th, boys finish 17th at regionals

Suwannee’s swim season came to an end at Thursday’s Region 1-2A meet at the Florida Aquatic Swimming and Training Aquatic Center in Ocala, where the girls placed 14th and the boys finished 17th.

Results for the girls included:

— Oliviah Schneider was 15th in 200 IM (2:46.98) and 21st in 100 breaststroke (1:27.08)

— Hannah Mantooth was 16th in 200 IM (2:52.08)

— Raegan Conklin was 14th in 50 freestyle (27.51) and 13th in 100 freestyle (1:00.63)

— Ainsleigh Pack was 15th in 50 freestyle (27.98) and 14th in 100 freestyle (1:02.87)

— Pack, Conklin, Schneider and Mantooth were 10th in 200 freestyle relay (1:54.00) and disqualified in 200 medley relay

— Brooklyn Long, Virginia Mayhew, Aubrey Baum and Alexi Pack were 13th in 400 freestyle relay (4:45.35)

Results for the boys included:

— Cade Cannon was 17th in 200 freestyle (2:06.26) and 20th in 500 freestyle (5:37.03)

— William Cerritos was 23rd in 100 freestyle (59.24)

— Camden Swartz was 24th in 100 freestyle (59.74)

— John Abersold was 22nd in 100 backstroke (1:11.57)

— Cannon, Swartz, Cerritos and Abersold were 12th in 200 freestyle relay (1:45.35)

— Jacob Kirkland, Jason Cerritos, Jorge Aguilar and Cannon were 13th in 400 freestyle relay (3:56.50)
