PREP ROUNDUP: Suwannee swept by Bishop Kenny in Region 1-4A quarterfinals

    VOLLEYBALL

    — Bishop Kenny 3, Suwannee 0: The No. 7 seed Bulldogs (16-8) saw their season end in a 25-10, 25-7, 25-13 sweep at the hands of the No. 2 seed Crusaders (21-6) in the Region 1-4A quarterfinals. Olivia Ryno led BKHS with 12 kills and Caroline Snyder had 20 assists and eight digs, while Alexis Sowers led all Crusaders with 12 digs.

    BOYS GOLF

    — Columbia 179, Buchholz 184: Valin Capen shot a 4-over-40 for medalist honors to lead the Tigers over the Bobcats at the Country Club of Lake City. Trenton Kirby added a 45, Cooper Willis carded a 46 and Adyn Petit finished with a 48 for CHS.

    — Suwannee 143, Madison County 196: Dawson Wooley shot a 4-under-32 to lead the Bulldogs to over the Cowboys at Suwannee Country Club. Carter Cannon, Ty Hurst and William Slaughter all shot a 1-over-37 as SHS finished under par as a team.
