VOLLEYBALL
— Columbia 3, Newberry 2: Sinei Wood had a stacked stat line with 14 kills, four blocks, five aces and 27 digs, while setter Mylie Fernandez had 42 assists, three kills, a pair of blocks and 18 digs to help the Tigers (12-5) edge the Panthers (7-11) 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-10 on the road Monday night for their 10th straight win. Cassidy O'Neal added 15 kills and three blocks, and Autumn Jones contributed big with 12 kills, a block and 23 digs. Avery Sandlin was also crucial defensively with 19 digs to go with four aces.
— Branford 3, Trenton 0: Madison Ward had 11 kills while Kennedy Walker and Kennedy Johnson each had eight to lead the Buccaneers (14-2) to a 25-16, 25-12, 25-19 sweep over the Tigers (2-13) at home Monday night. Walker and Johnson also had 10 digs defensively, as did Erika Rioux, while Andi Sabouri led BHS with 28 assists.
BOYS GOLF
— Columbia 159, Trinity Christian 183: Connor Williams shot a 36 for medalist honors and Valin Capen added a 38 to lead the Tigers over the Conquerors at the Country Club of Lake City on Monday. Adyn Petit finished with a 40 and Trenton Kirby rounded the scoring out for CHS with a 45.
GIRLS GOLF
— Columbia 169, Middleburg 249: Karlee Gainey shot a 1-under-35 for medalist honors to lead the Tigers over the Broncos on Monday at Eagle Landing in Orange Park. Alison O'Brien added a 38 and Megan Ruwe carded a 44, while Adeline Mock and Rayna Hardin tied with a 52 for CHS.
— Branford 204, Taylor County 237: Claire Bond took medalist honors with a 40 to lead the Buccaneers over the Bulldogs on Monday in Perry. Wyllow Davis finished with a 53, Kayleigh Wardle shot a 55 and Bella Hobday rounded out the scoring with a 56.
