VOLLEYBALL
— Columbia 2, Valdosta 1; Columbia 2, Colquitt County 0: The Tigers (10-6) swept a tri-match against the Wildcats and the Packers at VHS. Kayla Goodloe had 10 kills, three blocks and a pair of aces while Sinei Woods delivered nine kills with 10 digs in the win over VHS. Goodloe then had eight kills and a pair of blocks against CCHS, while Woods finished with six kills and eight digs. Setter Mylie Fernandez combined for 36 assists, five kills, nine digs and eight aces in the two wins, while Avery Sandlin combined for 29 digs and Maritza Patterson combined for 10 aces and 13 digs.
— Lafayette 3, Union County 1: The Class Rural No. 1 Hornets (13-0) bounced back from a loss in the first set to win the next three and edged the Class Rural No. 7 Tigers (10-7) 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-21 on the road behind 19 kills, 19 digs and seven aces from Brooke Lamb. Kiley Beach added 10 kills and Sophia Kendrick finished with eight kills, while Libby Beach had 29 assists and Rylee Skillman had 12 assists to go with 18 digs. Havyn Richardson also had 18 digs.
— Trenton 3, Fort White 1: The Indians (3-6) fell to the Tigers (9-7) 25-22, 21-25, 25-12, 25-23 at home.
— Suwannee 3, Bell 0: The Bulldogs improved to 9-6 with a sweep of BHS (6-11).
GIRLS GOLF
— Branford 227, Union County 243: Claire Bond shot a 1-over-37 to lead the Buccaneers to victory over the Tigers at Quail Heights. Liberty Ward added a 60, Charlotte Bond carded a 61 and Callie Crisp finished with a 67 for BHS.
BOYS SWIMMING
— Suwannee 92, Columbia 19: Cade Cannon won the 200 freestyle (2:06.71) and 500 freestyle (5:54.18), William Cerritos won the 50 freestyle (25.63) and 100 butterfly (1:12.63), Colt Abersold won the 100 freestyle (57.58) and 100 backstroke (1:09.56), and Jacob Kirkland won the 100 breaststroke (1:13.39) to lead the Bulldogs to victory over the Tigers. Abersold, Kirkland and Cerritos also swam with Camden Swartz on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:59.09); Cannon and Swartz were part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team with Reed Hurst and Jace Hurst (1:55.94); and Kirkland, Cerritos, Abersold and Hurst swam on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:56.89). Baron Herget was the lone winner for CHS in the 200 IM (2:29.17).
GIRLS SWIMMING
— Columbia 79, Suwannee 66: Casey Fair won the 200 IM (2:27.74) and 100 butterfly (1:08.04), Izzy Scott won the 50 freestyle (28.90), Brie Fair won the 100 backstroke (1:13.92) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.04) to lead the Tigers to victory over the Bulldogs. The Fair sisters also swam with Luciana Tonetti on the winning 200 medley relay team (2:11.79), while the Fair sisters and Scott swam with Blythe Harrell on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:55.94). Individual winners for SHS included Brooklyn Long in the 200 freestyle (2:20.76) and 100 freestyle (1:03.85), and Aubrey Baum in the 500 freestyle (6:44.65). Long and Baum also swam with Oliviah Schneider and Hannah Mantooth on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:56.89).
