VOLLEYBALL

— Columbia 3, Bell 0: Cassidy O’Neal had 10 kills while Sinei Wood and Kayla Goodloe had eight kills apiece to lead the Tigers (10-5) to a 26-24, 25-22, 25-18 sweep over the Bulldogs (9-5) on the road Tuesday night. Wood also led CHS defensively with 18 digs to go with four aces, while setter Mylie Fernandez had 30 assists with a team-high six aces. Haidyn Markham added four aces with 15 digs, Natalie Button chipped in with six kills, Autumn Jones finished with five kills and nine digs, and Maritza Patterson had nine digs.

— Branford 3, Newberry 1: Kennedy Walker had 18 kills, Madison Ward had 11 kills and Jadyn Mosley had nine kills as the Buccaneers (11-1) rallied to beat the Panthers (7-10) in four sets at home Tuesday night, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19. Walker also led BHS defensively with 26 digs, while Kayley Johnson had 24 digs and Erika Rioux had 20 digs. Andi Sabourin had 40 assists to go with 18 digs and Mosley added 16 more digs.

— Lafayette 3, Suwannee 1: The Hornets (5-3) rallied to beat the Bulldogs (6-6) in four sets at home Tuesday night, winning 12-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.

— Trenton 3, Fort White 1: The Indians (1-6) won the first set but dropped the next three in a 19-25, 25-18, 25-12, 25-19 loss to the Tigers (2-10) on the road Tuesday night.

GIRLS GOLF

— Forest 176, Columbia 179: Alison O’Brien and Karlee Gainey both shot a 42 as the Tigers fell to the Wildcats on Tuesday at Ocala Country Club. Megan Ruwe carded a 46 and Rayna Hardin finished with a 49 to round out the scoring for CHS. Haley Davis took medalist honors with a 34 for FHS.
