BASEBALL

— Columbia 7, Beachside 3: Bynton Edge went 2 for 4 with two RBIs while Grant Bowers (2 for 3), Ayden Phillips and Max Schuler each drove in a run to help the Tigers bounce back with a road win over the Barracudas (9-6). Phillips started on the mound and struck out 11 while allowing three unearned runs on two hits and three walks.

— Suwannee 8, Wakulla 7: Grayson Bonds went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Hunter Watson hit a 3-run home run to lead the Bulldogs (8-5-1) past the Class 4A No. 7 War Eagles (12-3-1) in District 2-4A action at home. Logan Brooks also had two RBIs for SHS, which broke a tie with a 4-run fifth inning before holding on after WHS scored three in the sixth. Kyler Watson picked up the win on the mound in 2 1/3 innings where he allowed four earned runs on five hits and three walks.

— P.K. Yonge 9, Fort White 7: Aaron Parnell allowed seven earned runs on six hits and three walks as the Indians (8-8) fell to the Blue Wave (10-2) on the road. Hayden Adams and Garrett Depaola each had two RBIs and Caden Hall had another in the loss.

— Branford 13, Williston 8: Camden Gaskins went 2 for 4 with three RBIs, Gavin Barnes had two RBIs and Andres, Maysonet, Chason Blockner, Kyler Williamson and Wyatt Derringer each had one RBI to lead the Buccaneers (6-8) over the Red Devils (6-12) at home. Barnes got the win on the mound in three innings pitched after allowing six runs — three earned — on six hits and four walks with a pair of strikeouts.

SOFTBALL

— Santa Fe 9, Suwannee 2: The Bulldogs (7-8) fell to the Raiders (11-3) on the road.
