BASEBALL

— Suwannee 5, Madison County 0: Logan Brooks pitched six innings, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out six batters to lead the Bulldogs past the Class 1A No. 7 Cowboys on the road Tuesday night. Noah Lopez went 2 for 4 with two RBIs to lead the SHS lineup, while PJ Davis and Ethan Layton each had one RBI.

— Lafayette 15, Branford 0: Dawson Mock went 2 for 5 with four RBIs while Hunter Vann homered and had two RBIs to lead the Class 1A No. 1 Hornets (11-3) to a run-rule win over the Buccaneers (5-6) in five innings on the road Tuesday night in District 6-1A action. Karlos Muprhy went 3 for 4 with two more RBIs and Garrett Taylor also had two RBIs, while Coen Severance had one RBI. Taylor pitched 4 1/3 innings for the win, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out eight. Haiden Ward suffered the loss for BHS, allowing four unearned runs on four hits in two innings.

— Hamilton County 15, Fort White 0: The Indians (3-9) were held to one hit while pitcher Kenton Haase allowed four earned runs on three hits in just one inning to suffer the loss to the Trojans (11-6) at home Tuesday night in District 6-1A action.

SOFTBALL

— Columbia 15, P.K. Yonge 0: McKenna O’Sullivan went 3 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs, Kimber Long went 2 for 3 with a double and four more RBIs, and Emily Delgado also homered and finished with two RBIs to lead the Tigers (11-4) to a run-rule victory over the Blue Wave (6-5) in three innings on the road Tuesday night. Luisa Taylor and Alex Collins added an RBI each, while pitcher Madelyn Jones allowed one hit and one walk while striking out six batters in three innings.

— Lafayette 6, Fort White 2: Jaley Moseley and Taryn Maund both went 3 for 5 with an RBI as the Hornets (3-12) rallied from an early two run-deficit to beat the Class 1A No. 5 Indians (6-6) on the road in 10 innings Tuesday night in District 6-1A action. Emma Swann pitched the final six innings to get the win for LHS, allowing just two hits and a walk and no runs while striking out four. Ella McAdams, Ella Hancock and Emma Revels also had an RBI each for LHS. Kadence Compton suffered the loss for FWHS, allowing all six runs but just one earned on eight hits and a walk with 13 strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings. Madison Brown went 2 for 5 with two RBIs for FWHS.

— Suwannee 5, Hamilton County 2: Gracie Watley struck out nine batters and allowed two earned runs on six hits and a walk in a complete-game performance to lead the Bulldogs (11-3) past the Trojans (7-7) at home Tuesday night. Braylyn Federico had two RBIs, while Rachel Smith, Secora Pickles and Haley Law drove in one run each.

— Branford 4, Taylor County 2: Madyson Sikes went 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs while Jess Frierson had one RBI and a double to lead the Class 1A No. 2 Buccaneers (13-2) past the Bulldogs (9-5) on the road Tuesday night. Cloey Criggall went 2 for 4 with a double, triple and two runs scored and Morgan Brennan went 3 for 4 with two doubles and a run scored. Laila Arnold pitched a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs on five hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts.

GIRLS TENNIS

— Columbia 5, Santa Fe 2: Singles: No. 1 Bailey Ring lost 8-2, No. 2 Ethan Peyton lost 8-5, No. 3 Peyton Sapp won 8-0, No. 4 Sofia Chen won 8-0, No. 5 Rachel Brown won 8-7; Doubles: No. 1 Ring/Chen won 8-4, No. 2 Sawyer/Sapp won 8-3.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Florida High 27, Suwannee 0: The Bulldogs (5-4) were shut out by the Seminoles (11-4) on the road Tuesday night.
