SOFTBALL

— Columbia 9, Santa Fe 5: The Tigers (6-7) rallied with seven runs in in the sixth inning to take down the Class 3A No. 10 Raiders (10-3) at home. Luisa Taylor and Kimber Long each had two RBIs for CHS, while Addyson Sherman, Anna Dansby and Sakiya Merriex each drove in one run to help snap a six-game win streak for SFHS. Merriex scored twice on a 3-for-4 night, Harleigh Price scored twice on a 2-for-4 night and Long scored once on a 2-for-4 night. Price pitched a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs on eight hits and two walks with 11 strikeouts.

— Branford 6, Suwannee 4: Ellie Frierson hit two home runs and had three RBIs on a 2-for-4 night while Cloey Criggall hit a solo shot to help the Buccaneers (15-4) bounce back with a road win over the Bulldogs (7-7). Morgan Brennan also had an RBI for BHS, which saw Laila Arnold pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings in relief where she allowed three hits and a walk while striking out three after mallory Blue allowed four runs — two earned — on four hits and a walk in the first inning plus.

BASEBALL

— Suwannee 6, Florida High 5: Patrick Williams and Grayson Greene each had two RBIs to help the Bulldogs (7-5-1) rally past the Seminoles (5-9-1) on the road despite only three hits. SHS trailed 4-2 after an inning, with starter Logan Brooks giving up five earned runs total on eight hits and four walks while striking out two in 4 1/3 innings of work.

— Fort White 8, Branford 4: Kenton Haase and Caden Hall each had two RBIs while Hayden Adams and Carson Capallia each drove in a run to lead the Indians (8-7) past the Buccaneers (5-8) at home in District 6-1A action. Haase also pitched 6 2/3 innings for the win, with only one of four runs earned against him on six hits and eight walks with seven strikeouts. Tucker Floyd surrendered six runs — five earned — on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts for BHS, which saw Kyler Williamson deliver their lone RBI.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 34, Keystone Heights 12: The Bulldogs (9-2) blew out the Indians (3-10) at home.

— Buchholz 19, Columbia 14: The Tigers (2-6) lost to the Bobcats (4-3) at home in their regular-season finale.
