BASEBALL

Taylor County 1, Suwannee 0: The Bulldogs (11-6-1) were held to just two hits as they fell to TCHS (7-7) on the road, snapping a five-game win streak. Grayson Greene allowed the lone earned run in the fourth inning before exiting after three full innings pitched where he allowed two hits and four walks while striking out seven. Jace Moran kept TCHS off the scoreboard, allowing one hit over the final three frames while striking out two.

Eastside 3, Branford 2: Dawson Cannon allowed the Rams (3-14) to take the lead with two unearned runs in the fifth inning and the Buccaneers (7-10) fell on the road. Cannon had relieved Kyler Williamson after Williamson allowed an earned run on a hit and five walks while striking out four batters through four innings. Andres Maysonet and Cannon each had an RBI in the loss.

SOFTBALL

 Creekside 14, Columbia 4: Kinley King allowed the Class 7A No. 6 Knights (15-3) to score 10 runs — nine earned — on 11 hits and a walk before the Tigers (9-9) were run-ruled in five innings on the road. Josie Raulerson replaced King in the fourth inning and allowed the final four runs on two hits and five walks, though only one run was earned. Sakiya Merriex, Harleigh Price, Kimber Long and Anna Dansby each had an RBI in the loss.
