BASEBALL

— Fort White 16, Branford 1: Patrick Kennedy had four RBIs on a 2-for-3 night while Chauncey Mays, Austin Peach and Garrett Depaola all had two RBIs to lead the Indians (2-2) to a run-rule win over the Buccaneers (1-3) on the road in three innings Tuesday night in District 6-1A action. Hayden Adams, Carson Capallia, Gavin Crews and Matthew Pitts (3 for 3) all had one RBI. Crews allowed one hit on the mound on three innings, striking out four. Thomas Sikes took the loss for BHS in 2/3 innings, allowing seven runs — all earned — on five hits and two walks. Austin Humphries had the lone RBI for BHS.

— Santa Fe 6, Suwannee 0: The Bulldogs (1-4) were held to just three hits in a road loss to the Raiders (5-1) Tuesday night. Easton Kirby suffered the loss, allowing all six runs — three earned — on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.

— Lafayette 12, Madison County 2: Matthew Jenkins went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and a double, Dawson Mock went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a double, and Garrett Taylor hit a solo home run to lead the Hornets (4-1) to a run-rule win over the Cowboys (2-3) at home in five innings Tuesday night. Johntavious Cook and Lane Brock also had one RBI each. Jenkins picked up the win in his start on the mound, allowing one earned run on one hit and three walks with eight strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.

SOFTBALL

— Dixie County 6, Branford 5: Despite a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored from Madyson Sikes on a 2-for-4 night, the Buccaneers (5-1) dropped their first game of the season Tuesday night to the Bears (4-3) at home. Jesse Frierson also had an RBI for BHS, which also got two scored runs from Cloey Criggall (2 for 4). Alex Whitfield suffered the loss in the circle after allowing three earned runs on two hits and a walk in two innings. Laila Arnold pitched five innings, allowing three unearned runs on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 32, Jefferson County 6: Maci Campbell threw three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Bulldogs (3-1) over the Tigers (0-3) at home Tuesday night in District 2-1A action. Campbell completed 8 of 12 passes for 122 yards, while Kamiah Lovett led SHS on the ground with 40 yards on five carries. Hannah Humphries caught three passes for 85 yards and a touchdown, and Torlander’ia Ross caught a 30-yard touchdown to go with an interception on defense. Jessica Tran also had a sack.

BOYS WEIGHTLIFTING

— Columbia 66, Gainesville 13: Nine lifters won their weight classes to lead the Tigers to win over the Hurricanes in a traditional dual meet on Tuesday. Winners for CHS included Vincent Muraco (115-65-180 total in 119 class), Landon Oglesby (175-160-335 in 129), Cayden Cathy (165-170-335 in 139), Evan Umstead (185-185-370 in 154), Tyson Yaxley (235-185-420 in 183), Tony Fulton (305-260-565 in 199), Zaher Darwiche (295-300-595 in 219), Javon Bradley (285-225-510 in 238) and Henry Camiel (265-205-470 in unlimited).
