BASEBALL

— Lafayette 15, Fort White 4: The Hornets (7-1) run-ruled the Indians (2-5) in five innings on the road Thursday night in District 6-1A action. David Fralick, Hayden Adams and Elias Byrd all had RBIs for FWHS, while Austin Peach allowed eight runs — five earned — on six hits and a walk in the first 1/3 inning of the game.

— Suwannee 10, Belleview 0: Xaedyn Kirkland had two RBIs while Keith White, PJ Davis, Noah Lopez, Braxtyn Green and Logan Brooks each had one RBI to lead the Bulldogs (2-5) to a run-rule victory over the Rattlers (4-7) in six innings at home Thursday night. Easton Kirby got the win in three innings, allowing two hits and two walks with six strikeouts.

— Trenton 7, Branford 1: Gavin Barnes allowed four earned runs on five hits and four walks as the Buccaneers (3-4) lost to the Tigers (9-1) at home Thursday night. Austin Humphries had a double and an RBI for BHS.

SOFTBALL

— Williston 7, Columbia 2: Anna Dansby had a double with an RBI and Sakiya Merriex also had an RBI, but the Tigers (8-3) fell to the Red Devils (12-2) on the road Thursday night. Zoryana Hughes pitched al six innings in the circle for CHS, allowing five earned runs on 11 hits and two walks with four strikeouts.

— Suwannee 8, Lafayette 2: The Bulldogs (8-2) topped the Hornets (2-9) at home Thursday night. Gloria Gilliam and Jaley Moseley each had an RBI for LHS while pitcher Emma Swan allowed all eight runs — three earned — on six hits and three walks with six strikeouts.

— Branford 6, Trenton 0: Laila Arnold threw a one-hitter and walked two batters while striking out six to lead the Buccaneers (8-1) past the Tigers (5-4-1) on the road Thursday night. Madyson Sikes went 2 for 4 with a double and five RBIs, while Morgan Brennan added an RBI.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 13, Crystal River 12: The Bulldogs (5-2) beat the Pirates (4-2) on the road Thursday night.
