BASEBALL

— Branford 13, Bronson 3: Behind four RBIs from Kyler Watson and two more from Austin Humphries, the Buccaneers (1-3) run-ruled the Eagles (1-1) in six innings at home for their first win. Camden Gaskins, Dawson Cannon and Wyatt Derringer also had an RBI each for BHS, which saw Tucker Floyd (one hit allowed, one walk, seven strikeouts) and Cannon (two hits allowed, one walk, four strikeouts) each pitch three innings while Gaskins allowed the three runs — two earned — in no innings pitched.

— Lafayette 4, Dixie County 3: The Hornets (5-0) edged the Bears (2-1) at home to stay undefeated.

SOFTBALL

— Union County 10, Lafayette 6: Khloe Crotts allowed 10 runs — seven earned — on nine hits and a walk as the Hornets (3-3) fell to the Tigers (2-1) in their opener at the Bonham Tournament. Ella Hancock went 3 for 3 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead the LHS offense, while Kambry Moseley also had two RBIs and Miley McCray added another.

— Williston 17, Lafayette 2: Khloe Crotts allowed 13 runs — eight earned — on 15 hits and a walk in 3 2/3 innings as the Hornets (3-4) were run-ruled by the Red Devils (4-3) in their second game at the Bonham Tournament. Emma Revels also allowed four earned runs for LHS, which got two RBIs from Kambry Moseley.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 19, Crystal River 0: The Bulldogs (5-0) stayed undefeated with a road win over the Pirates (0-5).
