SOFTBALL

— Branford 7, Hamilton County 2: Ellie Frierson went 3 for 4 with a home run, two doubles and two RBIs to help the Buccaneers (8-3) rally past the Trojans (0-9) on the road. Laila Arnold and Peyton Bates also had an RBI each for BHS, which trailed 2-1 before scoring three runs apiece in the fourth and fifth innings. Arnold pitched four innings in relief and allowed zero runs on one hit and two walks while striking out six after Mallory Blue surrendered two earned runs on two hits and a walk with four strikeouts in the first three innings.

— Suwannee 7, Florida High 1: Gracie Watley struck out twelve and allowed just one earned run on four hits to lead the Bulldogs (5-4) past the Seminoles (2-5) on the road. Rachel Smith, Braylyn Federico, Haley Law, Maylee Gabey and Watley all delivered an RBI for SHS.
