BASEBALL

— P.K. Yonge 4, Fort White 1The Blue Wave (4-0) broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning, scoring three unearned runs off Luiz Ortiz to beat the Indians (2-3) at FWHS. Ortiz didn’t even allow a hit over his three innings in relief after coming on for Aaron Parnell, who gave up an unearned run on three hits and a walk while striking out six. Garrett Depaola had the Indians’ lone RBI.

SOFTBALL

— Williston 3, Columbia 1: The Tigers (0-3) surrendered two runs in the seventh inning and fell to the Red Devils (2-3) at home.

Lafayette 13, Chiefland 3: Kambry Moseley went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, Ella McAdams went 3 for 5 with two RBIs, Clara Knight had two RBIs and Emma Revels drove in another run to lead the Hornets (3-2) past the Indians (1-4). Knight also pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run on six hits while striking out one.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 24, Santa Fe 0: Tor’Landria Ross caught three passes for 100 yards and a touchdown, Kamiah Lovett rushed for 55 yards on six carries with a touchdown, and Shyenne Williams also had a 7-yard TD run to lead the Bulldogs (4-0) past the Raiders (3-1) at home. SHS overcame two interceptions from Jessica Tran, who completed 3 of 9 passes for 92 yards. Alaire Handy and Cherish Sutton led SHS defensively with two interceptions apiece.

— Columbia 45, Gainesville 0: The Tigers (2-1) shut out the Hurricanes (0-2) at home.
