BASEBALL

— Dixie County 6, Fort White 1: The Indians (2-2) managed just three hits, one coming on an RBI single by Garrett Depaola, as they fell to the Bears (2-0) on the road. Carson Capallia allowed three runs — all unearned — on two hits and two walks in 2/3 of an inning, while Kenton Haase allowed the other three — one earned — on two hits and four walks with six strikeouts in three innings.

— Suwannee 8, Union County 2: Koy Frier had two RBIs while Colton Rogers, Dillon Greene and Grayson Greene each drove in a run to lead the Bulldogs (1-1) past the Tigers (1-3) at home. Kyler Watson pitched 4 2/3 innings for SHS in the win, allowing both runs but just one earned on four hits and a pair of walks with four strikeouts.

— P.K. Yonge 10, Branford 6: Gavin Barnes got dinged for eight earned runs on six hits and four walks in just 1 1/3 inning as the Buccaneers (0-3) fell to the Blue Wave (3-0) on the road. Troy Roberts, Kyler Williamson and Haiden Ward each had RBI hits in the loss.

SOFTBALL

— Suwannee 9, Lafayette 4: Braylyn Federico had three RBIs while Felicity May and Secors Pickles each had two RBIs to help the Bulldogs (2-2) topple the Hornets (2-2) on the road. Rachel Smith and Brianna Woods added RBI hits for SHS, which saw pitcher Gracie Watley throw a complete game in the circle with two earned runs allowed on six hits and a pair of walks with 13 strikeouts.

Branford 3, Union County 1: Madyson Sikes went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead the Buccaneers (4-0) past the Tigers (1-1) on the road. Laila Arnold allowed no hits in four innings while striking out seven and walking three. Arnold relieved Mallory Blue after Blue allowed an earned run on a hit and four walks while striking out three.

FLAG FOOTBALL

Florida High 39, Columbia 0: The Tigers (1-1) were shut out by the Seminoles (3-0) on the road.

Suwannee 26, Baker County 2: The Bulldogs (3-0) blew out the Wildcats (0-2) at home.
