BASEBALL

— Bell 11, Fort White 4: Hayden Adams lasted just 1/3 of an inning, allowing five earned runs on three hits and two walks as part of an 8-run first inning for the Bulldogs (2-1) that proved to be too much to overcome for the Indians (2-1) to overcome at home. Luis Ortiz and Tucker Flynn gave up three more earned runs apiece, while Matthew Pitts managed to keep BHS off the scoreboard over five innings with only three hits allowed and a pair of walks with five strikeouts. Aaron Parnell and Garrett Depaola each had RBI hits for FWHS.

— Lafayette 10, Chiefland 7: The Hornets (4-0) rallied with two runs in the fifth inning and two more in the sixth to edge the Indians (1-2) at home.

SOFTBALL

— Trenton 4, Columbia 1: Addison Allaire struck out 16 and tossed a 2-hitter for THS (2-0) to hand CHS (0-2) a road loss.

— Fort White 8, Williston 5: Gracie Clemons drove in three runs on a 3-for-5 night that included a triple and a double to help the Indians (2-0) top the Red Devils (1-3) on the road. Hannah LeBleu, Morgan Kelly and N’Coreyia Atkins also had an RBI for FWHS, which saw Kadence Compton strike out 14 batters while allowing one earned run on seven hits and three walks in a complete-game performance in the circle.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Suwannee 38, Madison County 6: Jessica Tran tossed two touchdown passes and threw for 157 yards while Tor'Landria Ross had six receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) past the Cowgirls (0-3) on the road. Cherish Sutton and Hannah Humphries also each threw a touchdown, while Alaira Handy, Hylan Hurst and Johanna Alicea all caught touchdowns. The SHS defense also had five interceptions, including two by Handy and one apiece from Shyenne Williams, Sutton and Humphries.
