PREP ROUNDUP: Scores and stats from 1/6/26

Fort White, Suwannee, Branford and Lafayette were all in action in basketball and soccer Tuesday night.

Here are scores and stats for Jan. 6.

BOYS BASKETBALL

— Fort White 58, Bronson 53: Jhailynd Cooper scored 13 points, Kevin Bradley added eight, Javion Bailem had seven, and Jayden Jackson and Darion Brinson each finished with six as the Indians (4-7) snapped a seven-game losing streak with a win over the Eagles (3-11) on Senior Night.

— Lafayette 59, Bell 54 (OT): Lane O’Steen scored 25 points and nabbed five steals while James Turner had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the Hornets (3-7) over the Bulldogs (6-10) on the road.

— Suwannee 47, Union County 46

GIRLS BASKETBALL

— Lafayette 41, Bell 34: Jada Copeland scored 19 points while Sophia Kendrick recorded a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds lead the Hornets (8-4) over the Bulldogs (5-10) on the road.

— Fort White 35, P.K. Yonge 27

BOYS SOCCER

— Buchholz 4, Suwannee 0: Carlos Cadet scored two goals while Dylan Fitzpatrick and Rhett Rousseau each scored one as the Class 6A No. 3 Bobcats (12-0-1) shut out the Bulldogs (8-7-3) at Citizens Field. SHS goalkeeper Brayden Hearn made 12 saves in defeat.

GIRLS SOCCER

— Maclay 4, Suwannee 2: Felicity May made seven saves, but it wasn’t enough for the Bulldogs (5-7-2) as they fell to the Marauders (5-6-1) at Langford Stadium. Alaire Handy and Maddyson Royero each scored for SHS.

— Branford 3, Lafayette 3: Delilah Poore scored two goals to help the Buccaneers (4-8-4) tie the Hornets (5-5-2) at Buccaneer Stadium in District 2-2A action. BHS goalkeeper Samantha Ray also made 16 saves.
