BOYS SOCCER

— Lincoln 1, Columbia 1 (LHS wins 4-2 in SO): The No. 1 seed Tigers (8-8-2) were upset by the No. 5 seed Trojans (5-11-2) in the District 2-5A semifinals at home Saturday night. It leaves CHS, which entered the district tournament ranked sixth in Region 1-5A, on the playoff bubble until the final FHSAA rankings are released. Markeyon Moore scored the lone goal in regulation for CHS and goalkeeper Dalton Carwile made six saves.

— Suwannee 2, Palatka 0: The No. 1 seed Bulldogs (7-7-3) shut out the No. 4 seed Panthers (8-12-2) in the District 2-4A semifinals at Citizen’s Field on Saturday night. SHS advances to face No. 2 seed Eastside in the district championship on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

BOYS BASKETBALL

— Hilliard 70, Fort White 56: Despite 18 points from Tafari Moe, 14 from Brandon DeMartino, and 11 from Najeeb Smith, the Indians (14-6) lost to the Class 1A No. 7 Red Flashes (17-4) at home Saturday.

Santa Fe 66, Suwannee 36: The Bulldogs (5-14) fell to the Class 4A No. 5 Raiders (18-5) on the road Saturday night.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

— Buchholz 67, Columbia 48: The Tigers (9-12) lost to the Bobcats (9-9) on the road Saturday afternoon.

— Hilliard 42, Fort White 41: Despite 17 points from Isreal Hart and 10 more from N’Coreyia Atkins, the Indians (13-9) fell to the Red Flashes (16-7) at home Saturday night. Lisa Gall added nine points and Ciara Byrd had five as only four players scored for FWHS.
