BOYS BASKETBALL
— Columbia 67, Lake Weir 52: The Tigers (13-10) jumped out to a 12-0 lead and never looked back, rolling to a wire-to-wire victory over the Hurricanes (10-8) in the Jim Haley Classic at Vanguard thanks to a team-high 14 points from Shaheed White. Gavin Broomfield and Kadrian Wilson also scored in doubles figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively, while Terrance Tolbert chipped in eight more.

BOYS SOCCER
— Branford 3, Lafayette 1: The No. 2 seed Buccaneers (10-8) topped the 3-seed Hornets (6-9-3) in the District 2-2A semifinals at Bell. It sends BHS to the district championship on Tuesday against 4-seed Hamilton County, which upset top-seeded Bell 2-1 in the other semifinal.
