District tournaments continued for soccer and girls weightlifting on Thursday.

GIRLS WEIGHTLIFTING
— District 7-1A meet: Branford swept team titles at Chiefland, winning traditional with 69 points ahead of Chiefland’s 53 and Olympic with 72 ahead of Chiefland’s 52. Ryland Roush (185 total in traditional, 165 in Olympic in 101 class), Aubrey Wood (285 in traditional, 275 in Olympic in 183 class) and Wyllow Davis (335 in traditional, 300 in Olympic in unlimited class) all swept titles. Lily Moore also won traditional in the 119 class (245) and Anabella Dicks won Olympic in the 169 class (270), with Moore also losing a tiebreaker for first in Olympic with a 205 total while Dicks was runner-up in traditional with a 285 total. Also scoring for the Buccaneers were Claire Bond at 110 (second in traditional, 225; second in Olympic, 200), Bella Hobday at 110 (fourth in traditional, 205; third in Olympic, 190), Kelbie Snider at 119 (fourth in traditional, 220; fourth in Olympic, 200), Rnell Manley at 129 (fourth in traditional, 190; fifth in Olympic, 170), Sadie Miller at 129 (fourth in Olympic, 175), Marisol Deanda at 139 (fifth in traditional, 200; sixth in Olympic, 165), Alayna Zebley at 139 (sixth in traditional, 195), Raelea Bradow at 154 (fifth in traditional, 205; fourth in Olympic, 195), Cailey Johnson at 169 (third in traditional, 265), Kalyn Osgood at 169 (third in Olympic, 225), Sadie Miller at 183 (second in traditional, 260), Ainsleigh Young at 183 (second in Olympic, 260), Emily Tindell at 199 (second in traditional, 270; third in Olympic 230) and Kiera Grace at 199 (third in traditional, 240; second in Olympic, 235).
BOYS SOCCER
— Clay 2, Columbia 1: The No. 2 seed Blue Devils (9-6-1) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half and held on to knock out the 3-seed Tigers (10-10-2) in the District 3-5A semifinals at Fleming Island. It ends the season for CHS, which saw Peyton Palmer scored a goal off an assist from goalkeeper Logan Wheeldon while Wheeldon also made five saves.
— Hamilton County 4, Fort White 1: The No. 4 seed Trojans topped the 5-seed Indians (5-13-1) in the District 2-2A quarterfinals in Jasper. It ends Fort White's season while Hamilton County (7-5-1) advances to face top-seeded Bell in the semis. Ryland Weissenborn scored a goal off an assist from Alex Cheshire for the Indians while FWHS goalkeeper Malik Hart made 20 saves.
— Lafayette, Dixie County FF: The No. 3 seed Hornets (6-8-3) advanced to face 2-seed Branford following a forfeit from the 6-seed Bears (2-13-1) in the District 2-2A quarterfinals.
GIRLS SOCCER
— North Bay Haven 6, Suwannee 1: Moncia Mahoney's hat trick, two goals from Avery Boyer and another from Alyssia Walker lifted No. 2 seed Buccaneers (11-8-1) past the 3-seed Bulldogs (8-10-2) in the District 2-3A semifinals at home. It ends Suwannee’s season, while North Bay Haven advances to face Florida High in the championship.
BOYS BASKETBALL
— Hamilton County 67, Lafayette 45: Parker Hills and James Turner each scored 11 points but the Hornets (5-11) fell to the Trojans (14-5) at home.
— Branford 65, Bell 39
GIRLS BASKETBALL
— Lafayette 65, Hamilton County 39: Jada Copeland and Haven Richardson each scored 16 points while Shia Fleming had 14 to lead the Hornets (10-7) over the Trojans (2-9) in Mayo.
— Taylor County 54, Branford 20: Willow Phelps scored 21 points, Irene Meler had 19 and Honesty Green added 10 to lead the Bulldogs to a blowout win over the Buccaneers in Perry. Callie Harris and Addalyn Harrelson each had six points to lead BHS.
— Fort White 43, Baker County 28
