    Columbia, Suwannee, Branford and Lafayette were in action in basketball, soccer and wrestling on Friday.

    Here are scores and stats for Dec. 19.

    BOYS BASKETBALL

    — Mandarin 52, Branford 46: Tian Wyche scored 26 points to lead the Mustangs (4-6) over the Buccaneers (3-4) in the second round of the Green Championship Division at the Battle on the Island at Fleming Island.

    BOYS SOCCER

    — Suwannee 4, Lafayette 0

    GIRLS SOCCER

    — Suwannee 6, Lafayette 0: Alaira Handy scored four goals — two via assists from Lydia Gunter — and assisted two more to Maggie Combs and Anette Sanchez to lead the Bulldogs (5-6-2) to a shutout win over the Hornets (5-6) at Langford Stadium. SHS goalkeeper Felicity May made four saves to keep LHS scoreless.

    GIRLS WRESTLING

    — Rumble on the Range: Columbia wrestler Bella Guerrier-Lajoir won the 140 class title at the Rumble on the Range at The Villages Charter and didn’t have a single point scored against her. Leah Brown also medaled with a sixth-place finish in the 190 class.
