    Columbia's girls wrestling team opened the season on Friday at the Lady Clash at University High in Orange City.

    Josie Raulerson placed third in the 235 class, while Jay Jay Williams placed fourth at 155 pounds.

    BOYS SOCCER

    — St. John Paul II 2, Suwannee 1: Denzel Yaxon scored a goal, but the Bulldogs (3-6) fell to the Panthers (3-3) on the road Friday night. Goalkeeper AJ Hitt made nine saves for SHS.

    — Interlachen 4, Branford 1: Goalkeepers Samantha Ray and Zoe Nahabetian combined for make 16 saves for the Buccaneers (1-2-2), but they fell to the Rams (3-2-1) at home Friday night in District 4-3A action.
