— Columbia, East Ridge FF: The Tigers (1-0) won their season opener on Saturday via forfeit when the Knights (0-1) failed to show up for their matchup in the Team Mighty Ike Shootout at Williston.
— Suwannee 57, Gadsden County 52: The Bulldogs (1-1) topped the Jaguars (2-1) on Saturday at Godby.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
— Columbia 51, Suwannee 19: Ayesha Broxey scored 22 points and Zuri Hollie recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 steals to lead the Tigers (1-2) to a blowout win over the Bulldogs (1-2) at home Saturday night. Eriel Baker made her season debut for CHS, scoring eight points with eight steals, five assists and a pair of blocks.
