— Columbia 3, Dixie County 0: Sinei Wood had 11 kills, two aces and 17 digs, while Cassidy O’Neal finished with 10 kills, four blocks and an ace to lead the Tigers (12-7) to a 25-16, 25-23, 25-13 sweep of the Bears (8-12) at home. Adriauna Combs added six kills and three blocks, and Kayla Goodloe also had six kills to go with eight digs, a block and an ace. Ava Christie stepped in at setter for an injured Mylie Fernandez and had 30 assists with three aces and 13 digs, while Avery Sandlin led CHS defensively with 26 digs to go with a pair of aces.
— Lafayette 3, Suwannee 1: The Class Rural No. 2 Hornets improved to 16-1 with a 25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 26-24 victory over the Bulldogs (12-7) on the road.
BOYS GOLF
— Lafayette 150, Chiefland 178, First Christian 185, Branford 188, Taylor County 211: Gavin Barnes shot a 2-under-34 for co-medalist honors to lead the Hornets to victory in a 5-team match at Quail Heights. Cooper Kerby was third overall with a 37, Harrison Jackson was fourth with a 38, and Jaxson McCray tied for fifth with a 41 to cap the scoring for LHS. Caige Tidwell shot a 40 to lead the Buccaneers, who also got three 48s from Wyatt Winnett, Isaac Pitts and Noah Ramsey.
GIRLS GOLF
— Branford 224, Trenton 233: Claire Bond shot a 42 for medalist honors to lead the Buccaneers over the Tigers at Chiefland Golf & Country Club. Callie Crisp added a 59, Morgan Brennan shot a 61 and Lily Cochran finished with a 62 to round out the scoring for BHS.
