SOFTBALL
— Suwannee 17, Gadsden County 0: The No. 4 seed Bulldogs (9-12) run-ruled the No. 5 seed Jaguars (0-10) in three innings in the District 2-3A quarterfinals on Monday night behind a 13-run first inning. Braylyn Federico led SHS with a 3-for-3 night that included a home run and five RBIs. Kazlee Rodriguez, Rachel Smith and Karis Smith all had two RBIs, while Zoie Hatch and Secora Pickles drove in one run each. Karis Smith was also perfect all three innings in the circle, striking out all nine batters she faced. Suwannee advances to face top-seeded Baldwin on Tuesday.
— Branford 5, Taylor County 4: The No. 4 seed Buccaneers (12-5) topped the No. 5 seed Bulldogs (7-12) in the District 6-1A quarterfinals on Monday. BHS advances to face top-seeded Bell on Tuesday.
