— Oak Hall 4, Lafayette 1: The top-seeded Eagles (12-0-1) struck for three goals in the first half en route to a win over the No. 4 seed Hornets (8-9) in the District 2-2A semifinals at Bell on Monday night. The loss ends Lafayette’s season.

BOYS BASKETBALL

— Branford 64, Bell 45: The Buccaneers improved to 14-6 on Monday with a win over the Bulldogs (2-21) on Senior Night.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

— Oak Hall 33, Lafayette 29, OT: Tristan Campbell scored nine points, Tavyn Richardson added eight points with six steals, and Kelby Lyons Beach had six points, but the Hornets (13-6) fell to the Eagles (11-2) in overtime Monday night.
