PREP ROUNDUP: Fort White blows past Bradford in boys hoops

Tafari Moe scored 23 points and Brandon DeMartino was right behind him with 22 points to lead Fort White’s boys basketball team to a 79-47 win over Bradford at home Thursday night.

The Indians (10-2) also got 18 points from Jayden Jackson and eight from Najeeb Smith. They built a 42-24 lead at halftime and then took a 59-38 lead into the fourth quarter.

Maddox Burgin led the Tornadoes (4-5) with 16 points.

GIRLS SOCCER

— Bell 2, Branford 1: Kayleigh Wardle scored a goal on an assist from Savannah Creech but the Buccaneers (3-5-2) fell to the Bulldogs (2-6-1) on the road Thursday night. BHS goalkeepers Samantha Ray and Zoe Nahabetian each had four saves in the loss.
