PREP ROUNDUP: CHS wrestling places second at Hurricane Cup Duals

Columbia's wrestling team placed second at the Rob Herman Hurricane Cup Duals hosted by Citrus High this weekend.

The Tigers rebounded after losing their first match Friday against Pasco (36-31) to beat Lecanto (51-26), Central (70-12) and Citrus (43-33). Saturday saw them edge CCC (60-11), Rockledge (46-33), Suwannee (43-27) and Steinbrenner (50-18).

Next up for Columbia is the Wakulla IBT next Friday and Saturday.

BOYS SOCCER

Baker County 7, Fort White 0: The Indians fell top 2-17 while the Wildcats improved to 18-1.

GIRLS SOCCER

Baker County 7, Fort White 0: The Lady Indians fell to 5-10 while the Lady Wildcats improved to 14-3.
