PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Mobley, Hermanson impress for Suwannee at FSU Invitational

Suwannee’s cross country teams got a taste of their district course as well as the state course on Saturday, competing in the FSU Invitational at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee where the boys placed 21st out of 39 teams and the girls finished 24th out of 32 teams.

The boys team were led by an impressive 16th-place finish by Morgan Mobley (17:26.40) out of 348 runners, while Ryleigh Hermanson (21:27.50) was also stellar by placing 25th out of 292 runners to lead the girls.

Also scoring for the SHS boys were Brig Scott in 41st (17:54.40), Paul Gunter in 92nd (18:31.50), Issac Starling in 147th (19:04.00), Elijah Littleton in 248th (20:22.40), Colton Rogers in 270th (20:41.40) and Terrance Clark in 301st (21:21.60).

Behind Hermanson for the SHS girls were Montana Lewis in 113th (23:33.60), Brianna Woods in 130th (23:50.90), Sadie Siemon in 143rd (23:57.00), Maddie McMillan in 175th (24:40.30), Lydia Gunter in 191st (25:00.30) and Arwen Haley in 219th (25:23.40).
