HILLIARD — Troy Robert had a 2-RBI double and Gavin Barnes drove in another as No. 5 seed Branford rallied with a 3-run sixth inning to beat the No. 4 seed Fort White 3-2 in the District 6-1A quarterfinals at Hilliard on Monday.

Tucker Floyd pitched 6 1/3 innings for the win, allowing two runs — one earned — on four hits and two walks while striking out eight. Barnes then closed things out for the Buccaneers (9-13) with the final two outs.

The Indians (11-13) had taken a 2-0 lead when Patrick Kennedy scored on an error in the third inning and David Fralick had a RBI sacrifice bunt in the fourth. Kenton Haase suffered the loss in a complete-game effort where all three runs were earned on three hits and four walks.
