Suwannee football player Koy Frier was voted by the readers as the LCR Athlete of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 2.
Frier received 137 of the 326 votes cast through 4 p.m. Thursday in our online poll following a performance where he had a 45-yard pick-6, threw a 41-yard TD on his only pass attempt and caught two passes 2 catches for 35 yards to help the Bulldogs’ beat Chiles 25-24. He finished ahead of Branford running back Ollie James (102 votes), Columbia running back Jerome Horne (40), Suwannee cross country runner Ryleigh Hermanson (20), Branford volleyball player Andi Sabourin (19) and Suwannee golfer Ryan Donaldson (8).
