MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Webber leads FGC's second-half rally over Enterprise State

Down four at halftime, Florida Gateway College turned it on in the final 20 minutes to rally in a blowout.

Thanks to 20 points from Antewan Webber, who shot 6 of 11 from the field and 3 of 5 from 3, the Timberwolves cruised in the second half to top Enterprise State Community College 81-64 on Thursday night at the Howard Center.

FGC (2-2) also got 11 points apiece from Amayoa’ah Phillips and Amon Moore. Moore was one of two double figure scorers off the bench for the T-wolves, who also got 10 points from Oakley Lewis.

Columbia High alum Ty’jahn Wright also added eight points off the bench.

Despite losing the turnover battle 12-2, the T-wolves made up for it with their shooting. They made 55% of their shots, finished 5 of 12 from 3 and hit 18 of their 20 free throws.

N’ykeen Gainer scored 14 points off the bench fro ESCC. Ahmad Johnson, Joseph Womack and Mark Saadeh all finished with 10 points in defeat.
